I just saw one similar to this advertised on TV so I can’t say honestly I’ve tried this yet, but it sure looks like a great idea. There are many times I’d like to take Keno but don’t. Guilty. I just bought a newer car and he hasn’t even been in my new car yet.

I’ve thought of blankets but they slide and Keno is very active in the backseat racing from one side to the other. He doesn’t want to miss a thing! And like a lot of big dogs, he slobbers and I just don’t want him slobbering all over my car. I know, selfish me. But, I am considering purchasing this for him and me.

Sometimes your pet will loose interest in his food. And it’s no wonder. The majority of dog foods have a bunch of “by-product” and loads of fillers.

Go ahead, look at the first ingredients listed on your favorite brand of dog food. Compared to the Purina brand, (which I mix with his Wellness brand food occasionally, among other brands for variety), the first ingredient is whole grain corn. Corn? I’ve never witnessed my dog running for the corn field to eat corn. Maybe when he’s chasing a rabbit, but not craving corn. Corn doesn’t have any significant nutritional value for dogs or humans.

I’m not knocking Purina, my dog loves it mixed with Wellness but I wouldn’t give it to him as his only food. The second ingredient in Purina is a poultry by product meal. Which is just another filler, like corn.

Now look at Wellness: In Wellness brand dog food the first ingredient is deboned Chicken.

The best part about the Wellness brand is the price. It is a little more than brands you buy at department stores but with all the natural healthy ingrediants it is made of, it is well worth the extra amount.
